Taking care of one’s hair shouldn’t be expensive at all. You do not have to buy hair care products that burn a whole in your pocket just to have great hair. In fact, you only need a few items that can just be found in your kitchen cupboards.

Here are a few things you can mix up together in your homes to get healthier beautiful hair:

Dry hair needs a lot of moisturizers and nourishment to bring back its life and shine.

You can use olive oil on your dry hair. Massage olive oil to your hair from roots to tips. Allow it to sit in hair for at least an hour or two, depending on how dry your hair is. You can then shampoo it and if you want to, you can also condition your hair afterwards. You can mix together honey plus edible oil to form a blend that is very beneficial for dry hair. The ratio should be 1:1 for both ingredients. Once it is mixed well, you then apply it to your hair, leaving it on for around 15-20 minutes. Then you can rinse it with cold water. Try to mix egg yolks, vinegar and some hair oil together. Apply this concoction to your hair with emphasis on the roots, where it is prone to be excessively dry and have split ends. Leave this on foe a good 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water. You can shampoo your hair if you feel that your hair is still a bit sticky from the egg yolks and if you can still smell the vinegar from your hair.

Oily hair doesn’t need to be conditioned anymore since applying conditioner to hair will only add up to its oiliness.

Frequent washing of oily hair is the best technique to control its greasiness. Try to dilute vinegar with water and apply this to your hair, giving extra attention to the scalp. Wash off with warm water afterwards. Another solution for oily hair is to mix the juice of a lemon with equal parts of water. This can then be applied to your hair like shampoo. You don’t need to shampoo your hair after this since the scent of the lemon will make your hair smell refreshed and clean. You can also soak tea bags into a little bit of water. Place the solution in a spray bottle and mist it all over your hair. Tea has an acidic quality that gets rid of the excess oil in your hair and scalp.

The most common hair problems are having dry damaged hair and oily hair. These are just some of the thousands of things you can mix up to use in treating your hair problems. All the things you need are readily available in the kitchen cupboards. You don’t have to spend anything with these hair treatments. All you need is a little imagination and a lot of determination.
